Our Projects
The Om Foundation is focused on providing quality health care to diabetic patients in the Peten region of Guatemala through four clinics held three times a year. In addition to our medical missions, we adopt local rural schools to provide a hygienic and comfortable environment for children.

Health Clinics
Four clinics are held each quarter in the towns of San Luis, Poptoon, Livartade, and San Ponito in the Petan region of Guatemala. Each clinic provides free treatment to over 125 patients, who receive a three-month supply of insulin and medication.

Nutritional Education
As studies show, a healthy nutrition is crucial for the prevention of diabetes. This is a new initiative of the Om Foundation, which aims to educate patients and students on the benefits of a healthy diet. Booklets on a healthy nutritional lifestyle are distributed among patients and schools to raise awareness.

Adopt a School
Take over a rural school and help provide adequate infrastructure through cement floors, equipped washrooms, and furniture for the classrooms. School children are also provide with clothing and school supply needs as required.

Computers for Students
Our volunteers in the technology sector help provide refurbished computers to nursing students to make them better equipped for their studies in school.
